An owner/admin composes the learning branch from the program. A course is an ordered chapter; a section is an optional separator inside it. Neither is a milestone or a review request. The outcome is a navigable content outline that can hold published lessons.
| Resource | Job | State and order |
|---|---|---|
| Program | Names the overall transformation | Draft, active or archived; owns courses and milestones |
| Course | Groups an ordered set of lessons | Can be reordered among courses; archive is terminal |
| Section | Splits a course's long lesson list | Ordered within its course; no status or publication cycle |
| Lesson | Gives a member text, video and resources | Draft, published or archived; can sit outside a section |
In Management → Programs, open Agentic AI Developer and its content area. As an owner/admin, add Build an agent as a course. A new course is appended after existing courses; verify it appears under the intended program before adding lessons. The Create course endpoint performs the same operation for integrations.
Inside that course, add Tool calling only if it helps people scan a longer lesson list. A short course can leave lessons unsectioned; those lessons read before sectioned ones. A section has no publish button. Create section and Move a lesson into a section document the machine operations.
Place First tool call in Tool calling and arrange lessons in the sequence members should study. Reordering a course or section submits the complete ordered list, so review the saved outline rather than assuming a single drag moved in isolation. The Courses API, Sections API and Lessons API have separate reorder commands.
If a lesson seems to have vanished after sectioning, check the unsectioned lessons above the sections and the lesson's course assignment before recreating it. Moving a lesson changes its placement, not its publication state. An archived course refuses composition; create a replacement course rather than expecting to restore the archived one.
The next task is to write, attach media and publish the lesson. To define an outcome rather than a reading sequence, go to milestones and paths. An organization-scoped program director may read this outline but cannot compose it.
