After onboarding, open My path for the enrollment you want to work on. It shows the program's destination, numbered milestones, the current action and published tasks. Open My courses when you want to browse the program's course and lesson order, or return to a lesson you opened earlier.
| View | Best question it answers | What to do there |
|---|---|---|
| My path | “What matters next for this enrollment?” | Follow the current lesson or task, see milestone conditions and open Other actions for published tasks outside a milestone. |
| My courses | “Where is that lesson in the course?” | Browse the course outline, open an available lesson, or use Resume the lesson for the last lesson opened. |
Opening a lesson and completing it are different events. The resume card returns you to the last lesson opened; it is not a claim that you finished it. Within a course, Start the course or Continue the course opens the next available lesson. A lesson can be listed while locked; open it to read the condition rather than assuming it was deleted.
In the illustrative Agentic AI Developer journey, the member opens a lesson that prepares the “Submit your agent demo” task. They can resume that lesson from My courses, then go back to My path for the task and its deadline. The course is the learning order; the path adds the milestone and proof the school expects.
The program chooses one unlock mode. Immediate opens all steps. Sequential waits for completion of lessons covered by earlier steps. Validation required waits for review and validation of earlier published deliverables. Onboarding, a cohort start or the enrollment's state can also limit access. A locked step names the condition to satisfy; a task still in draft is not shown to members at all. Your enrollment keeps the path version assigned when you joined, even if the school publishes a newer one.
If the condition looks wrong, show the school the program, enrollment and closed step you see. For the full rules on coverage and unlocking, read The member journey. Lesson navigation and resume are screen flows; the Enrollments API serves supported integration views of the enrollment, not a member resume command.
