At Mike Academy, the closer finishes a sales conversation with Alex Morgan and prepares a named Agentic AI Developer offer. The closer's school-scoped business role gives a narrow offer workflow. It does not make them an organization owner or admin.
| Action | Organization-scoped closer | School owner/admin |
|---|---|---|
| Create an offer draft | Yes | Yes |
| See an offer's address and status | Own offers only | All school offers |
| Open a draft for buyers | Own draft only | Yes |
| Edit, close or delete an offer | No | Yes, when its state permits |
| Read payment schedules and school-wide encashments | No | Yes |
| Record offline settlement or change charging | No | Yes, subject to the line's state |
| Inspect payment fulfilment and retry eligible access | No | Yes, when the retry action is available |
The closer uses the school's Offers screen to compose, open and copy their own offer. They can tell Alex which link to use and whether their offer is still a draft or open. They cannot infer that Alex has paid from their limited offer row; the owner/admin confirms collection in Payments and payment details in Offers.
The buyer uses the public address without a school staff role. Payment does not grant the closer authority to inspect Alex's financial schedule. If Alex says payment succeeded but learning is unavailable, pass the offer and buyer identity to an owner/admin for payment and access diagnosis.
Creating or opening offers is a school screen action. The Offer payments API is for an owner/admin controlling an existing plan; an API key does not expand the closer's role.
