A school may record your place in a program before you have an account. An enrollment is that program participation; it is not an invitation or proof that you can sign in. A cohort may also be assigned, but it is optional.
In the running example, Mike Academy enrolls a member in Agentic AI Developer. Only after a school operator sends the separate invitation does that member activate their account. The member then finishes onboarding for that school and opens My path. None of those steps implies that every member belongs to a cohort or that an enrollment itself sends email.
Check that you signed in with the invited account and selected the expected school. If you have the account but no matching path, ask the school to check whether the invitation was sent and accepted, the enrollment is active, and the correct person and program were linked. A pending or paused participation may not offer the same actions as an active one. Do not create a second account to try to repair the link; school staff must correct the underlying access.
The Enrollments API supports school integrations that record participation. Invitation, account activation, sign-in and member onboarding remain screen flows; the public API does not create member accounts or send invitations.
