A task tells you what to do and when. If it has an active deliverable, that definition says what evidence is accepted and what the reviewer checks. Your submission is your individual attempt; a review is the decision on that attempt. These are separate records. A published task with no deliverable can instead be marked done by the member.
For example, the Agentic AI Developer member submits a link to an already hosted agent demo for “Submit your agent demo.” A reviewer requests a clearer failure-case explanation. The member prepares an improved demo and sends a new version; the first link and its review remain in the history. This is an illustrative sequence, not a live member record.
| State | What you can do |
|---|---|
| Draft | Edit the attempt and send it while the task is open and you may participate. |
| Submitted or in review | Read the sent version; wait for the reviewer. It cannot be edited. |
| Changes requested | Read the corrections and send a new version when resubmission remains permitted. |
| Validated | The evidence was accepted. It can open later steps in validation-required mode. |
| Rejected | The decision is final for that submission; no new version follows that rejection. |
A deadline may be fixed for everyone or calculated from your enrollment date. After it passes, a first submission is refused. Paused participation suspends actions, and closed participation does not offer new submissions. History remains visible according to your access. If you expect to submit but the action is unavailable, check the displayed deadline and enrollment state with your school or coach; staff can extend a deadline for one member.
