Choose 2–36 equal monthly payments and an explicit amount per month. The total must cover the upfront price and may include a commercial split-payment surcharge. The summary shows upfront price, surcharge and split total. If dividing the price requires rounding, enter the monthly amount explicitly.
The first payment happens in Checkout. Subsequent monthly dates start from the purchase date, with the end of shorter months handled automatically. Stripe Billing collects on your connected account, then ends the plan after N monthly periods including the first. Product and Price are created automatically; no catalogue preparation is needed. Paying the upfront price instead remains a single payment without a recurring plan.
Stripe manages retries, payment authentication and receipts. Enable failed-payment/authentication emails and successful-payment confirmations in your Stripe Billing/customer email settings, and review your retry policy. Cohorte does not enable these settings for you. Stripe may use native subscription terminology in its emails; the description states the finite number of payments and total. Stripe Billing fees are separate from your commercial surcharge; Cohorte adds no collection commission.
The tracking screen shows paid, pending, authentication required, processing and genuine failure. Only genuine failed debt invokes the school's overdue access policy. Recovery lifts only a payment-overdue pause, not a manual pause. The normal end of a fully paid plan does not close learning access.
Stripe-managed plans cannot be waived, renegotiated or marked paid offline locally. The previous Cohorte charger and its pause/charge commands are retired. Historical plans retain their data for manual tracking and are not migrated.
