The community is where a school talks: spaces scoped to a program or a cohort, threads posted in them, replies under a thread, and links that tie a thread to the lesson, milestone, deliverable or live session it is about. Owners and admins open spaces; a member key posts and replies in the spaces of its own enrollments in progress.
Reading follows the same permissions: a key lists, searches and reads only the spaces its holder can read. API keys are governed by these community permissions alone — the personal Community publishing setting applies to MCP clients.
A community attachment is a file carried by a post or a comment. Upload it first — it exists on its own, attached to nothing — then attach it to a thread. An attachment never attached is swept away after 24 hours.
Accepted types: images, .zip, .html, .json, .md. Up to 10 MB per
file and 5 attachments per post.
Information
Files are never served from a permanent public address. Downloading one goes
through the application, which re-checks the space permission on every click
and signs a short-lived URL. .html and .svg are always sent as a
download, never rendered inline.
