The My learning endpoints answer for the holder of the API key, never for the school as a whole. They return what that person already sees in Cohorte as a learner: their enrollments, where they are in one of them, the lessons they can open, and their upcoming sessions.
Being a member of the school is not enough to read a program: only your own
enrollments are visible. An enrollment id that belongs to someone else, or to
another school, answers 404 — the API does not confirm it exists.
These endpoints only read, except your private lesson notes. Opening a lesson here does not move your resume point, mark anything complete or submit anything.
Your lesson notes are yours: one Markdown note per lesson you can read, which you can create, replace and delete. The school's owners, admins and the coach assigned to your enrollment read them in Cohorte; through the API, everyone, owners included, only reaches their own notes. Attached files appear as metadata only and are uploaded in Cohorte, never through the API.
Information
Lesson videos are never returned as a URL. A lesson reports video.present
and a cohorteUrl: open that page in Cohorte to watch it. No transcript is
available through the API.
The same reads are available to an OAuth MCP client as the list_my_* and
get_my_* tools, and notes are saved or deleted with save_my_lesson_note and
delete_my_lesson_note — see Connect with MCP.
